Water and Waste Water Projects

  • Annapolis Water Facility
    This project included design, manufacture, programming and start-up of a Siemens PLC control panel. This system is responsible for the starting, stopping, adjusting the speed and alternation of 2 - 50 H.P. vertical water pumps. Through the use of variable frequency drives we can maintain a constant water level in the wet well by adjusting the speed of the pumps as the water usage changes. The water level is measured by a ultrasonic level transducer.
  • Delaware Solid Waste Authority
    This project included the design, manufacture, programming and start-up of a wireless ethernet Radio SCADA System. This system is to transmit the digital alarm conditions through an ethernet radio to the autodialer for alarm, monitoring, and control status. 
  • Harford County Department of Public Works
    This project included pre-programming of several Texas/Texas instruments/PLC direct PLC's. These PLC's were for the sewage treatment process. The system in place did not work properly from it's original installation and could not be controlled from a remote location. 
  • Mt. Airy Water Facility 
    This project included the design, manufacture, programming and start-up of a Siemens PLC control panel. The system controls the starting and stopping of high service water pumps based on the water level of 2 elevated water storage tanks via pressure transducers.
  • Rehoboth Waste Water Treatment Plant
    This project included modifications to the existing program of a general electric PLC for maintaining constant oxygen levels in the sewage wells. This is done by controlling the speed of 3 blowers. This was done due to plant upgrades and the installation of new field equipment. 
  • RT 40 Cecil County
    This project included the design, manufacture, programming and start-up of a SCADA PAK PLC control panel. This panel is for the complete control of an unmanned duplex sewage lift station that is hooked via radio to the water treatment plant for alarm, monitoring and control status. 
  • Tyson's Chicken
    This project includes re-programming, troubleshooting of defective equipment and 24-hour emergency on call maintenance of several automation direct PLC's and operator interfaces for the chicken rendering process.
